XL Prep is a capsulated product designed to be taken before exercise to help increase exercise performance and recovery. Its first ingredient, Beta Alanine, helps to improve exercise performance by increasing time to fatigue and our ability to maintain high intensity exercise1. The second ingredient, Co Enzyme Q10, whilst well know for its antioxidant effect, also helps to reduce the markers of stress after exercise, allowing adaptations to take place that increase time to exhaustion during exercise2. Rhodiola Rosea, an adaptogen, has also been added as it is shown to increase physical working capacity by increase ATP content in skeletal muscle, leading to an increase in endurance exercise capcity3. The final ingredient, L-Carnitine L-Tartrate, has been shown to increase aerobic and anaerobic exercise performance4 as well as helping to up regulate androgen receptor density thus increasing our androgenic profile
