What are the Main Benefits of this product? XL Whey contains a blend of whey protein isolates and concentrates with one of the highest protein % per 100g on the market. Our product also contains the prebiotic Fructooligosaccharide (FOS), FOS acts as a fuel source for intestinal bacteria to provide an optimal environment for growth. FOS have also been shown to increase calcium and magnesium absorption in the gut [1, 2]. Whey proteins have also been shown to have antioxidant effects [3] aswell as anti cancer properties [4]. A high protein diet serves as the building blocks to growth and repair and our Whey serves as a high quality, convenient and great tasting method to ensure optimal protein intake through the day. What are the ingredients? Blend of whey protein isolate and concentrate, Fructo oligosaccharides, Flavouring, Beetroot juice powder, Tri calcium phosphate (anti caking agent), Xanthan gum, Sucralose (artificial sweetener). How many servings are there per Tub? Our Excel Whey+ comes in two sizes: 2kg and 1kg. Based on a 30g serving our large tubs provide roughly 67 servings and our smaller tubs provide 32 servings. How long with the tub last? The total time that the tub lasts will depend on use, however based on two servings a day, a large tub should last a month. When should I take it? Our XL Whey can be consumed at various times: at breakfast as a convinent way to have a large protein intake in the morning; after a workout, to help provide your muscles with the building blocks to repair; at night to ensure a large supply of protein whilst you rest. And what with? Whey can be taken with either water or milk, we suggest consuming with water after a workout to ensure quicker gastric emptying and absorption. How does this Product taste? Taste is a very subjective sense, however we believe we have created a product that tastes great! Our blend does not taste as sickly or sweet as other American style protein supplements, our flavours are subtle and smooth with a very balanced texture.
